With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry and more than a decade as a board member, Amanda has been at the forefront of the beauty industry, constantly staying ahead of trends and mastering new techniques. Specializing in hair color, Amanda’s true passion lies in blonding, with a particular love for gray blending. Her expertise extends to hair cutting, where she has honed an intricate skill set. As a licensed cosmetology instructor, Amanda takes great pride in mentoring up-and-coming professionals, helping them reach their full potential. When she’s not transforming hair, Amanda enjoys spending time with her four children, entertaining friends, and exploring new destinations. Come experience her exceptional skills firsthand!
Katesha
With over 20 years in the hair industry and a role as co-owner of Zee’s Salon, Katesha brings a deep passion and enthusiasm to her work, sharing it with every client, guest, friend, and colleague. She excels in texture transformations and color correction, and is certified in multiple SoCap extension methods, dedicated to achieving every client’s hair goals. Katesha also specializes in textured precision cutting and formal styling for any occasion. As a licensed cosmetology instructor, she enjoys mentoring emerging stylists and imparting her knowledge. On her days off, you’ll find her relaxing with a good book and her beloved cats!
Mary
Mary is one of our Senior level Stylists and is one of our co-owners at Zee’s. She has several years experience in the industry, and loves all things hair! Her favorites are dimensional color, blonding, extensions, and custom haircuts. She also loves to teach our new talent stylists, and does hands on class with them as often as she can. Montana
Montana is not only one of our Senior level Stylists, she has also been a co-owner of Zee’s since 2021. She is constantly striving to stay on top of current trends and is always looking for the next best look. Her passion is creating a custom look for every client, that caters to their specific face shape, skin tone, and eye color. While Montana does it all, she specializes in blonding, dimensional color and is trained in multiple methods of extensions, including semi-permanent toppers! Tiana
Tiana is in love with transforming hair! She has been in the industry since 2015 and she is one of our co-owners at Zee’s. She is talented at coloring and cutting hair! She also provides specialty services such as Brazilian blowouts and customized extensions. Tiana likes to change it up and give everyone a look designed just for them! In addition, she enjoys doing wedding styles for brides and bridal parties in salon and on site. She is motivated and passionate about making her guests feel like the superstars they are!
John
Being in the industry since 2007, John has not only been behind the chair, but even educating others in the hair industry as well. He finds his passion in all things color, color corrections, cuts, perms, relaxers, improving hair integrity and more! He loves making a customized look for every guest, and continuing that relationship with all your hair wants and needs!
Lauren
As a July 2019 Honor graduate from Paul Mitchell the School Roanoke, Lauren has found her home within the beauty industry. A few of her favorite things include all things color and curly girls. She is consistently seeking out the newest techniques and trends. Come see her!
Mary Paige
Cosmetology and making people feel like the best version of themselves is Mary Paige’s passion! Some of her favorite services include, but aren’t limited to foil-work, base color, haircuts, all body waxing and nails. She loves making people beautiful and to feel better about themselves. Jean
Jean, a proud Roanoke native, is dedicated to helping clients achieve their dream hairstyles. Always excited to explore new techniques and stay ahead of trends, Jean’s passions include vivid hair color, custom balayage, and creating seamlessly blended natural looks. They also have a flair for lobs and edgy haircuts, all while prioritizing hair health.
Madolyn
Since 2019, Madolyn has been creating the best looks for her clients at Zee’s Salon and Day Spa! She offers a variety of services including custom color, men and women’s haircutting, brow waxing, bridal styling, perms, Brazilian Blowouts and more! Emily
Emily has been behind the chair since 2015, but with Zee’s Salon since 2020. Her favorite services include messy textured cuts, sleek bobs, vibrant reds, dark brunettes, vivid colors and lived in color. Other services she enjoys include wedding and special occasion makeup, as well as lash lift and tints, lash extensions and brow lamination’s. Outside of the salon she spends time supporting local music, working on puzzles and legos, and collecting ethical taxidermy! She hopes to see you in her chair to achieve your hair goals!
Alex
Alex is a 2019 graduate of Paul Mitchell the School of Roanoke and she is passionate about what she does behind the chair! Her specialties are blonding, lived in color, and balayage. While she also has experience with formal styles/makeup for weddings and other special events! Alex is always keeping up with the latest trends and will soon be able to do hair extensions! If you fit into these categories, she would love to have you in her chair!
Hannah
Hannah loves all things blonde and dimensional, lived in colors! She chose this industry because Hannah loves meeting and speaking with new people everyday, everyone comes from different backgrounds and different walks of life. She has always wanted to make an impact with everyone she meets and for her, Hannah is able to do that through hair, one brush stroke at a time.
Brooklyn
Brooklyn is a recent Salem High School Graduate where she studied cosmetology and was licensed in 2024. Brooklyn specialized in all things nails including manicures, pedicures, natural nail care, acrylic and gel. Brooklyn has a passion for creative nail designs and delivering a custom experience. In addition to beautiful nails, Brooklyn loves color, cuts and blowouts. Brooklyn is eager to continue her education and learning about all the new styles and techniques in cosmetology. Jhenneil is currently a high school student enrolled in the cosmetology program through the Burton Center of Arts and Technology! She is a salon associate and assists in day-to-day salon life while getting experience in being behind the chair. Jhenneil recently received her lash technician certification and is continuing her education with many mentors here at Zee’s Salon! She looks forward to learning and working more with everyone!

Meet Bea, our esteemed Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with a career spanning since 1997. Specializing in aromatherapy and reflexology, Bea combines her holistic expertise with a background in journalism from Radford University and a foundation from Salem High School. As a seasoned instructor of massage therapy, she imparts her knowledge to aspiring therapists. Bea works exclusively on Fridays, offering a serene and restorative experience.
